Lady Reportedly Orders 14-Yr-Old Son To Shoot Man Who Assaulted Her

A Chicago-based woman and her teen son have been arrested and charged for a shooting that occurred on Sunday at a fast food stop that left one man dead.

It is reported that she instructed her 14-year-old son to carry out the shooting.

Carlisha Hood, who has a valid firearms owner’s identification card (FOID) and concealed carry license (CCL) holder, is facing a felony count of murder and another count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Her 14-year-old son is facing a felony count of murder.

According to police, the pair were arrested on Wednesday after being identified as the individuals who were involved in the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man, Jeremy Brown, at Maxwell Street Express, located in the 11600 block of South Halsted Street, just after 11 p.m. on Sunday.

According to court documents, Hood entered the restaurant to get food while her son waited in the car outside. Shortly after, Brown entered the restaurant and an argument ensued between them. Hood allegedly was texting her son from the store, signaling him. He entered the restaurant during the argument.

The argument quickly turned physical when the man punched Hood in the head multiple times. Then, Hood’s son displayed a firearm and fired shots at Brown. He sustained a gunshot wound to the back.

Court documents reports that as Brown attempted to flee, the teen chased him and shot him again. Brown succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced d£ad, WGN 9 reported. After the teen stopped shooting, Hood allegedly told him to shot Brown’s girlfriend, too, since she was laughing and encouraging Brown during the argument, the Sun-Times reports.

It is reported that Hood attempted to take the gun from the boy but he pushed her off. The pair then entered their vehicle and fled the scene. Both Hood and her son turned themselves in and were arrested on Wednesday.
